How to shoot Black light photography!

Updated: Jun 21, 2019

Have you ever wanted to shoot under black light? Now with advancements in lighting technology, you can do it easily! And for under $30!

First off, set your camera to Manual setting, I went with iso 1600 on my canon 5D MK11.

Then I set the f stop to f4.5, next is the shutter speed, do not go any slower than 1/60th of a second as you may get a blurry image. I shot mine at 1/80 of a sec, shutter speed.

I shot this at night, after the sun set, in a dark studio with 1 light bar, and one older 2 foot florsent black light, which is not nearly as strong as the new one I picked up off of Amazon for 29.99, (Prime member) and free next day shipping! YAY!

Place your light as close as you can!
